India vs West Indies, 1st T20I - West Indies beat India by 1 run

India came agonisingly close of winning the first T20I against West Indies but fell short by one run in Florida
India ended up one run short of the target against West Indies.
India almost pulled off the highest ever successful run-chase in T20 Internationals but fell short by one run as they reached 244/4 against West Indies in the first T20I in Florida. A match that went down to the wire saw two hundreds in either innings for West Indies and India but Evin Lewis’ ton ended up on the winnings side. For India, KL Rahul scored unbeaten 110 runs but failed to win it for India.

MS Dhoni won the toss for India and decided to bowl first in the first ever T20I for India in the United States. That decision was proved wrong by West Indies openers Johnson Charles and Lewis who put together an opening stand of 126 runs. Lewis, playing his second T20I, scored a century off 48 balls while Charles scored 79 runs off 33 balls to set the stage for a big total for West Indies. But India pulled things back in the last five overs after both the openers were back in the hut.
